  1. Create a new design
    • Go to Canva and click the purple + Create button in the upper left corner.
    • Under Create a Design click upload and upload the image file.
    • Select Use in a New Design
    • Select Create New Design
  2. Add your headshot
    • Click the purple Upload Files button to add your headshot to the design
    • To place your headshot behind the design:
      • Right click your headshot
      • select layer
      • select “send to back”
    • Double-click to reposition and center your photo.
  3. Add the banner to your canvas
    • Click the social media graphic to place it on the white canvas.
    • Using the corners of the graphic, resize it to fill the entire space.
  4. Download your finished design
    • When everything looks good, click Share → Download.
