- Create a new design
- Go to Canva and click the purple + Create button in the upper left corner.
- For LinkedIn select Custom Size, set Width = 1200 and Height = 628 (units px), then click Create New Design.
- For Instagram Story select Custom Size, set Width = 1080 and Height = 1920 (units px), then click Create New Design.
- For Instagram/Facebook Feed select Custom Size, set Width = 1080 and Height = 1080 (units px), then click Create New Design.
- Go to Canva and click the purple + Create button in the upper left corner.
- Upload your images
- On the left sidebar, click Uploads.
- Upload your headshot and the custom social media graphic.
- Add the banner to your canvas
- Click the social media graphic to place it on the white canvas.
- Using the corners of the graphic, resize it to fill the entire space.
- Add a circle frame for your headshot
- Click Elements on the left sidebar and search for circle frame.
- Drag the circle onto your banner and size it to match the white circle on the graphic.
- Insert your headshot
- Go back to Uploads and click your headshot. Drag and drop it into the circle frame.
- Double-click to reposition and center your photo.
- Download your finished design
- When everything looks good, click Share → Download → Download.
