Dear NBAA Member,

The NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program was launched in May 2009. The program has enjoyed great success—with savings to participating companies and additional revenues generated in support of NBAA’s mission.

The purpose of this letter is to announce that companies participating in the NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program are now able to derive an additional benefit under the program – specifically, the opportunity to earn a cash dividend, something that is quite rare in our industry. The dividend will apply to all current insureds and to every company that has participated since the program’s inception. In addition, due to the outstanding loss experience of the group since the program’s inception, the program is able to take the unprecedented step of offering the dividend benefit retroactively to newly participating companies as well. In fact, participating companies may receive a dividend in the form of a refund for a significant portion of their annual premiums – up to 25% based upon loss experience.

The NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program is an insurance program independently underwritten by Phoenix Aviation Managers and administered by NationAir Aviation Insurance. Under the program, policies cover all employees of a company’s flight department, including pilots, maintenance technicians, flight attendants and flight department managers. There are even provisions for companies who use contract pilots, contract flight attendants and contract crew. If you do not currently participate in the NBAA Workers’ Compensation Program, but would like to learn more, you can do so without changing insurance brokers and by visiting the Old Republic Aerospace website.

On behalf of all of us at NBAA, we are most pleased to announce the dividend benefit now being made available under the NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program, and to again remind you that this insurance benefit is part of our long-standing commitment to help our Members and the industry overall operate as safely and successfully as possible.

I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta at our 63rd Annual Meeting & Convention in October.

Sincerely,
Ed Bolen
