Established three years ago this summer, the NBAA Leadership Council now has 100 members with the recent addition of six companies – Phillips 66, Honeywell International, B/E Aerospace, Daher-Socata, Solarius Aviation and Dow Corning. Review a sampling of NBAA Leadership Council Member companies.
The financial contributions of Leadership Council members help support NBAA’s advocacy efforts, led by the No Plane No Gain campaign, which educates policymakers and opinion leaders about the value of business aviation to citizens, companies and communities across the U.S.
“NBAA appreciates every company and individual who has stepped up,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “Leadership Council members understand the challenges confronting business aviation, and are helping NBAA ensure the industry’s prosperity in the years to come.”
Participation in the Leadership Council is voluntary and open to all NBAA Members in good standing, said Chris Strong, senior vice president of marketing and member services. It is a body of “business aviation leaders whose observations, insights and input we greatly appreciate,” Strong added.
Bolen added that Leadership Council members offer “an important touchstone for NBAA, by providing guidance and feedback on NBAA’s work.”
This dialogue takes place throughout the year and around the world, from the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention and the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), to the Association’s Regional Forums and Conferences.
In recognizing this membership milestone, Bolen said he looked forward to working with current and future Leadership Council members in sustaining and promoting business aviation. To join the Leadership Council today, download the application or contact NBAA at membership@nbaa.org.
