Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference Coming to Las Vegas

The NBAA Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference will return in-person to Las Vegas Oct. 10-11. This event occurs immediately before the 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), and all Tax Conference attendees also receive complimentary registration to NBAA-BACE.

With the business aircraft market seeing significantly increased transaction activity, the Tax Conference will cover the critical tax and regulatory planning steps necessary for a successful aircraft purchase or sale.

Attendees will also learn how to maximize the value of business aircraft ownership through immediate expensing, which now applies to pre-owned aircraft.

Due to the unprecedented impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, business aircraft owners and operators are facing challenging questions on how to classify commuting flights and make business-use versus personal-use determinations.

To help owners and operators make these decisions, members of NBAA’s Tax Committee will analyze these complex rules and discuss some real-world scenarios. The recent IRS rulemaking on commuting flights will also be part of the discussion.

Finally, the Tax Conference will cover the most talked about “hot topics” in business aviation. From enhanced enforcement of aircraft exports to the challenging aviation insurance market, this is the can’t miss event for anyone involved in the ownership or operation of a business aircraft.
