By the Numbers: Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act

Passage of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act late last year will pay dividends in terms of upgrading general aviation infrastructure across the United States and allocating funds to help address aviation’s workforce challenges.

Funding for the Airport Improvement Program: $500 million per year for the next 5 years for GA airports $5 billion to FAA over next 5 years for towers and other ATC facilities Funding for Promoting Service in Transportation Act: $5 million per year from 2022 to 2026 for public service campaigns to promote a broad array of transportation careers, including pilots, mechanics, and engineers
