SAF Production, Availability and Use Continue to Rise

Advocacy by NBAA, with support from the Wisconsin Business Aviation Association, culminated with Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers signing a bill to further the development and production of sustainable aviation fuels in the Badger State.

NBAA today welcomed a bipartisan Senate bill, title the “Securing America’s Fuels Act,” that would restore the full value of the sustainable aviation fuel tax credit and extend the incentive for eight years.

The Securing America’s Fuels Act (SAF Act) would return the 45Z tax credit to $1.75 per gallon and extend it through 2033 – key steps to scaling domestic production of the low-carbon fuel.
