With a history dating back to 1991, IADA is a dedicated leader in developing standards for efficient, effective and ethical business practices. Accredited dealers are among a select few who have earned their membership by meeting these rigorous standards, ensuring that only the most respected and experienced dealers become IADA members. While only 17% of the world’s aircraft dealers have earned IADA accreditation, they are responsible for over 50% of the world’s pre-owned sales. Accreditation and certification are done by a third party company, Joseph Allen Aviation Consulting.
Once they receive initial IADA accreditation, member dealers must be re-accredited every year. IADA believes this process enhances the reputation and market value of member dealers, while also ensuring that customers receive efficient, ethical and effective aircraft transactions.
Recognizing the value of IADA membership, more and more qualifying dealers and brokers are joining the association. IADA recently added eight new members, including three IADA-accredited dealers and five IADA-Verified Products and Services Members. With a total membership now standing at 169 companies, this growth further solidifies IADA’s reputation as the global leader in the business aircraft resale industry.
