NBAA to Launch Sustainable Flight Department Accreditation Program
The NBAA Sustainable Flight Department Accreditation Program offers a framework for achieving sustainability and recognizes those efforts.
Over 30 business aviation leaders have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability by earning the accreditation. They can be earned in four categories: flight, operations, ground support and infrastructure. Check your company’s eligibility and start preparing your documentation today.
Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2025, for accreditation recipients to be recognized in person at the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition. If your application is not received by this date, the final deadline for this year is Dec. 15, 2025.

NBAA will offer a variety of Professional Development Program (PDP) courses in conjunction with the 2025 NBAA Leadership Conference, 2025 International Operators Conference and 2025 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference.
Also, the Developing Strategic Vision, Mission and Goals in Business Aviation course takes place March 6 in Atlanta in conjunction with a Georgia Business Aviation Association event. This course will outline the process of developing and maintaining an aviation department vision, mission and values in accordance with the company business plan to ensure understanding and commitment among stakeholders.

Adaptive Leadership: Navigating Change With Agility
Customized specifically for the 2025 NBAA Leadership Conference, this course combines the three-legged stool model – self, team, passengers – with psychologist James Reason’s “Swiss Cheese Model” to investigate the causes of lapses in leadership and explore solutions.
