How to Connect With Your NBAA Regional Director at NBAA-BACE

As you prepare for the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas, with business cards ready, elevator pitch polished and comfortable shoes packed, be sure to add one more must-do to the list: Meet with your NBAA regional director.

Connecting with these specialists will elevate your experience, whether you’re a regional group leader, thinking about starting a group or an industry stakeholder seeking expert guidance.

“The entire NBAA Regional Team always looks forward to this in-person meetup opportunity with industry partners and stakeholders from our respective states,” said Steve Hadley, NBAA regional program director.

Bookmark time to connect throughout the show at the NBAA Booth and Connection Zone (#672), including on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the NBAA-BACE Coffee Social. The NBAA Booth is conveniently located near Community Connect, with booths of other associations and industry groups.

“It’s valuable for us as your regional directors to meet with you – this industry’s key stakeholders at the grassroots level,” said NBAA Regional Director Kristi Ivey. “We can listen as well as understand what’s important to you; and we can effectively help connect the dots to provide solutions.”

Here are three ways to maximize your time with Hadley and Ivy, and NBAA’s other Regional Directors Brittany Davies and Phil Derner:

  • Check the map. Learn which director covers your state at nbaa.org/regional-directors. Add their email and phone to your contacts. Feel free to reach out ahead of NBAA-BACE to find the best time to meet.
  • Locate them at NBAA-BACE. Find NBAA’s booth and the Connection Zone (Booth #672) in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
  • Use the 2025 NBAA-BACE Mobile App. Build your schedule, mark your must-see booths and connect with fellow attendees. Add your headshot, regional group affiliation and social media links to your profile.

Don’t miss these sessions for local and regional groups:

  • Networking Session – Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 1:15 p.m. in the Connection Zone (Booth #672). Group leaders and regional directors will connect and celebrate Outstanding Excellence Award recipients.
  • Best Practices Session – Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 9:30 a.m. in room W219, West Hall, LVCC. This panel expands on discussions from the recent Regional Leadership Roundtable, with opportunities to benchmark and connect.

“NBAA-BACE is a show you can’t afford to miss,” said longtime NBAA-BACE veteran Jessica Belcher, CAM, an NBAA member, Local & Regional Group Committee chair and regional group leader. “From networking and education to cutting-edge technology, this event brings the best of the best together in one place.”
