Customs Preclearance

Customs and Border Protection Private Aircraft Preclearance allows the Department of Homeland Security to screen travelers before takeoff, essentially by the same process travelers undergo upon arrival at a U.S. port of entry. Passengers that go through preclearance won’t need additional inspection upon arrival in the U.S.

International Business Aircraft Flights Increased in 2025

The use of business jet and turboprop aircraft for international trips rose 2.5% last year, compared to 2024. See the map below for regional breakouts.
