Advocating for the Industry When It Matters Most

April 27, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our lives, our jobs and our industry. NBAA has led the charge to ensure business aviation stakeholders are represented fairly as Congress and the FAA have considered and implemented a host of measures to help support the many small businesses that utilize business aviation, and temporarily eased a number of regulatory burdens on pilots and others working in and supporting our industry through this very difficult time.

“Our ability to be effective [during this pandemic] has not been reduced in any way,” said Doug Carr, NBAA’s vice-president for regulatory and international affairs. “We still are able to engage with the right stakeholders and policymakers to ensure that our members needs are represented, that the agencies and the departments are doing what they need to do to service our members and to provide that feedback to them, where it’s needed, to help address unique or missed opportunities.”

In this special edition of NBAA Flight Plan, host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • Doug Carr, NBAA Vice-President, Regulatory and International Affairs
  • Scott O’Brien, NBAA Senior Director, Governmental Affairs
