The Business aviation industry is generous in helping those in need, and one of the organizations benefiting from this kindness is the Corporate Angel Network (CAN), which flies cancer patients and their families to and from treatment. CAN flew it’s 48,000 patient earlier this year, and credits the more than 500 organizations that support its mission with saving lives. “We save lives and extend lives and a lot of these patients couldn’t get the treatment they need if we weren’t able to get them there,” said CAN Executive Director, Emeritus Peter Fleiss. The NBAA/CAN Soiree, held every year at NBAA’s convention, raises money for this worthy cause. This year’s soiree is set for 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Venetian Hotel.
