Ted Ogle, owner and president of Ogle Equipment Sales in Louisville, KY, said a privatized ATC system – such as the one used in Canada or England – would be harmful to small U.S. businesses that depend on aircraft, and would cause operating costs to skyrocket. “[Privatization] gets the cost up so high that a lot of people just won’t handle it. I don’t know why you want to change the system when it’s working fine.”
