Gina Russo recently took over as executive director of the Corporate Angel Network (CAN), which provides flights for cancer patients and their families on business aircraft – free of charge. Russo comes to CAN from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where she ran its patient services programs. “I think we’ve got the right person here. I think she knows what she’s doing and she’s going to be a natural for this,” said Peter Fleiss, CAN’s executive director emeritus. “CAN is going to move forward as a result.”
