FAA adoption of the SoCal Metroplex Project will improve the safety and efficiency of Southern California airspace for all operators. “NBAA unequivocally supports this metroplex effort, as it will greatly benefit business aircraft operations in Southern California,” said Bob Lamond, NBAA’s director air traffic services and infrastructure. Importantly, operators in Southern California have stepped up and have become involved in the process to make sure that some of the non-commercial airports frequently by business aviation are included in the metroplex plan.
