NBAA’s New Connectivity Subcommittee Begins Work on Standards

Business aviation passengers expect to be able to work productively on the way to their destination, and that has sparked an ongoing revolution in data and voice connectivity. But, more connectivity means more people have to make more decisions about capabilities, standards and training. That’s where NBAA’s new Connectivity Subcommittee comes in. Part of NBAA’s Maintenance Committee, the group recently met to begin discussions on establishing guidelines, noting that lack of standardization may be the biggest element that drives problems with technology in the cabin.
