About 10 years ago, NBAA created strategic focus teams to open new lines of communication among business aviation leaders serving on NBAA’s standing committees. “NBAA has a strong history of having volunteer committees within different specialties within the industry,” said Director of Educational Development and Strategy Jo Damato, CAM, adding these teams allow committee leaders to “interact with each other, to learn from each other, share ideas, share best practices.” The group of about 50 volunteers meets each fall, along with staff liaisons, to discuss goals for the upcoming year.
The NBAA Flight Plan podcast, which ran from 2009 to 2025, provided an overview of important developments affecting NBAA members, and the association’s work to advocate for their interest.
