Business aviation leaders in Alabama recently met to form the new Alabama Business Aviation Association (ABAA). Ryan Waguespack, vice president of business development at Priority Jet, was instrumental in getting the new group off the ground. “The real need was the lack of network and the lack of communications,” he said, adding he hopes the new organization will “provide a community to gather to communicate about operational and safety matters.” One of the first orders of business, according to Waguespack, is giving business aviation operators a voice at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM).
