Business aviation professionals are encouraged to apply now for this year’s round of NBAA scholarships, which offer close to $100,000 each in monetary and training awards. While some may think their chances of receiving a scholarship are low or that they are not worthy of an award, four past scholarship recipients strongly encourage potential applicants to dismiss those doubts and apply. “[Scholarships] can really change the trajectory of your career,” emphasizes 2022 NBAA C&W Family Scholarship recipient Anne Williams. “It’s been nothing but a blessing, and the relationships and friendships that have come out of it are lifelong.”
In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:
- Susan Feuer, owner services coordinator, Tradewind Aviation and recipient of NBAA’s 2022 Schedulers and Dispatchers Scholarship
- Kenny Mazingo, business development manager, Four Corners Aviation and the 2022 NBAA Cheri Rudd Memorial Scholarship recipient
- Christopher Rozum, fixed-wing captain with a Northeast-based operator and recipient of NBAA’s 2022 IOC Scholarship
- Anne Williams, aircraft dispatcher and trip coordinator, Pentastar Aviation and the 2022 NBAA C&W Family Scholarship recipient
