Among the ways that NBAA is celebrating Black History Month is by highlighting individuals who’ve found their careers in business aviation and who now are working to ensure similar opportunities are available to anyone seeking a place in the industry. “If you get young people who are exposed to this career, and then they see that people who look like them are doing the same job, I think it will help attract and give us the next generation to mentor,” emphasizes Eric Wilson, an international Gulfstream captain.
In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:
- Tanya Austin, operations and safety manager, RedTail Flight Academy
- Tracie Carwile, vice president for global sales and inclusion, GGT WorldWise
- Eric Wilson, executive aviation and travel team, The Coca-Cola Company
