A crisis often strikes without warning, so it’s imperative that business aircraft operators have their response procedures, including a thorough and effective crisis communications plan, at the ready. “Communication transcends every single aspect of the emergency response plan,” says Don Chupp of Fireside Partners. “If you haven’t practiced it, then the entire response is going to look disjointed and, at its worst, probably disingenuous.”
