Although 2021 hasn’t yet brought significant relief from COVID-19, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen believes there are many reasons to be excited and optimistic about what lies ahead for the industry, despite some lingering headwinds. “This is one of the most exciting technology times I think in the history of aviation,” Bolen tells host Rob Finfrock in this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan” podcast, pointing to the rapid development of advanced air mobility vehicles, supersonic aircraft and even commercial spacecraft. “It is amazing to witness how rapidly it is developing.”
