In addition to highlighting general aviation’s economic contributions and the industry’s role in providing critical lift to smaller communities, sustainability has become a key part of grassroots efforts to promote the industry. “Everybody has a role in decarbonizing sectors of the economy,” notes Alliance for Aviation Across America Board Member Niel Ritchie. “It’s really great that general aviation is taking the initiative in pushing into it because there’s really no turning back.”
