Oct. 26, 2020

NBAA moved its annual Single-Pilot Safety Standdown online this year, as part of the association’s inaugural Virtual Safety Week. In this episode of Flight Plan, two presenters from the event discuss takeaways from the standdown and how operators can continue to pursue excellence across all their operations. “Learning never stops,” noted Chris Provencio, director of flight safety and security at Textron Aviation. “I’ve been flying for almost 40 years now, but I also realize that any day there’s something out there that could bite me. There are always things to get better at.”

In today’s episode of NBAA’s Flight Plan, host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • Todd Hotes, flight operations manager and chief pilot, Polymer Resources
  • Chris Provencio, director, flight safety and scurity, Textron Aviation
