Washington, DC, Oct. 12, 2022 – In recognition of its 75th anniversary, the association is introducing the NBAA Legacy Society.
“The NBAA Legacy Society is an opportunity for member organizations to elevate their commitment to NBAA and business aviation,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “The society honors the past 75 years of industry achievements and growth, while looking to the future of business aviation.
“It is just one element of a series of initiatives designed not only to recognize the milestones marking the industry’s pioneering spirit, but to inspire the next generation of leaders to be a part of the business aviation community,” he added.
Multiple organizations, including those wishing to remain anonymous, have stepped up their commemorative-level contribution to support NBAA and the future of business aviation. Current NBAA Legacy Society members include: Airbus Corporate Jets, Textron Aviation, Raytheon Technologies, Boeing, ForeFlight and Boeing Business Jets.
A portion of the financial commitment is allocated to NBAA Charities to support scholarship opportunities. Society members may designate where those scholarship funds are directed.
NBAA Legacy Society members will be front and center of all NBAA anniversary events and initiatives, receiving the highest level of recognition at conventions, conferences and events, beginning with 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), and continuing into 2023.
As an advanced level membership, the NBAA Legacy Society will remain for milestone years even past the association’s 75th anniversary.
NBAA member organizations interested in participating in the Legacy Society may contact Lyndse Costabile at lyndse@idc.nbaa.org.
“This anniversary year offers an opportunity for everyone to take part in telling our industry’s story of innovation and achievement so that business aviation is even stronger seven decades from today,” said Bolen. “In that spirit, this special anniversary year membership is a way to recognize the industry’s past and ensure its continued success.”
