Washington, DC, August 5, 2011 – Applications for the 2011 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Gold Wing Award are due Friday, September 30. Entries should have appeared in print, online, or on-air between July 1, 2010, and June 30, 2011.

The NBAA Gold Wing Award for Reporting Excellence is presented annually for excellent, accurate and insightful reporting on issues related to business aviation, by trade or nontrade media. The award recognizes journalism’s important role in reporting the significant contributions of business aviation to the national economy.

Award recipients will receive an honorarium at the NBAA 64th Annual Meeting & Convention Media Kickoff Breakfast, to be held October 10, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV. Co-authors of a winning entry will share honorarium.
