Washington, DC, October 12, 2010 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will hold its 63rd Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2010) in Atlanta, GA on October 19-21, 2010. NBAA2010 will include approximately 25,000 Attendees, 1,000 Exhibitors at the Georgia World Congress Center, and a Static Display of Aircraft at Dekalb-Peachtree (PDK) airport.

The Annual Meeting & Convention is the fourth largest trade show in the United States, and the world’s largest purely-civil aviation trade show. In addition to the Exhibit floor and displays, over 100 education sessions are open to those interested in seeing and learning about all that is new in the world of business aviation.

Community Outreach Program for Brookhaven Boys and Girls Club

NBAA2010 Annual Chairman’s Charity Classic Golf Tournament

The NBAA Chairman’s Charity Classic golf tournament, founded in 1997, has raised over $400,000 for various charities. All proceeds from the 2010 event will benefit NBAA Charities, which raises funds to support Corporate Angel Network (CAN), which coordinates business aircraft flights for cancer victims to treatment centers.

Cessna/NBAA Single-Pilot Safety Standdown

Safety presentations will draw on actual experiences of pilots using general aviation aircraft for business purposes. The sessions will emphasize peer-to-peer information sharing.

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen and General Aviation Manufacturers Association President and CEO Pete Bunce will provide a briefing on the status of NBAA2010 as well as an overview about the state of the business aviation industry. NBAA and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) will jointly host the Light Business Airplane (LBA) Conference, to help their members of both Associations get the most value from their light business airplanes. Education sessions will be focused on entrepreneurs and other businesspeople who fly their own airplanes.
