Jeff Evans Promoted to Assistant Manager, NBAA GA Desk

Washington, DC, September 3, 2004 – NBAA is proud to announce the promotion of Jeff Evans from NBAA GA Desk specialist to assistant manager, NBAA GA Desk effective on September 1, 2004. Evans has worked for NBAA at the GA Desk since April of 2002 and has been instrumental in developing and implementing several new and innovative products in support of Members subscribed to the NBAA GA Desk. Some of the expanded responsibilities Evans will have include acting as primary GA Desk interface for security issues, managing the GA Desk staff work and training schedule, retaining and attracting new subscribers, and continuing his work on special projects to further develop benefits for NBAA Members and GA Desk subscribers.

NBAA established the GA Desk at the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center in August 2001 to represent the tactical aviation interests of its Member Companies to the Command Center staff and various ATC facilities throughout the United States. The GA Desk is a Member service that provides representation and participation in real-time national airspace flow control and decision-making. The GA Desk staff not only represents the interests of NBAA Members in general, as part of their basic Membership dues, but also provides additional services on a subscription basis.
