Washington, DC, October 8, 2000 – Participants in the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) 4th Annual Chairman’s Charity Classic Golf Tournament today raised $40,000 for The Magnolia School, a New Orleans-based organization that helps citizens with mental disabilities lead productive lives. Approximately 285 golfers participated in the sold-out event, played on two adjacently located 18-hole golf courses at Eastover Country Club.

NBAA Chairman Phil Roberts presented the check to Patrice Senac, the school’s program director, at an Awards Lunch following the tournament. “NBAA is extremely pleased and proud to help The Magnolia School with their outstanding programs for mentally retarded children and adults,” Roberts said. “We hope that our contributions will help facilitate the school’s ambitious plans for expansion and growth.”
