Washington, DC, December 11, 2001 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the University Aviation Association (UAA) together will present a Corporate Aviation Career Seminar for college students titled “Reaching Future Business Aviation Professionals” on Friday, December 14, 2001, at the NBAA 54th Annual Meeting & Convention in New Orleans. It will be held from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. in Rooms 280 and 281 of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
A panel discussion, which includes a complimentary lunch, will feature the following business aviation industry representatives: Dr. Mavis Green, UAA president-elect and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University professor; Rebecca Pcola, Wal-Mart; Randy Lamb, MCI; John C. Hatfield, Pentastar; and Jeff Lee, IBM Corp. director of flight operations and Member of NBAA Board of Directors. Students are encouraged to bring resumes to the career seminar and ask questions about careers in business aviation. NBAA expects students from universities around the United States to attend.
