Washington, DC, October 7, 2010 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announces a new Member benefit, the NBAA Shipping Program, which helps NBAA Member Companies save money on shipping with FedEx, while furthering the Association’s mission.
Through this exciting new Member benefit, NBAA Member Companies will save up to 29 percent* on select FedEx Express® shipments, up to 20 percent on select FedEx Ground® shipments, and up to 10 percent on select FedEx Home Delivery® shipments. NBAA Members can also save at least 70 percent on less-than-truckload (LTL) freight shipments arranged through PartnerShip®, the management firm for the NBAA Shipping Program. Additionally, a percentage of all the shipping revenue earned under the program will go directly to help NBAA fund advocacy and image efforts, including No Plane, No Gain.
“This is an ideal relationship for the NBAA Membership and for FedEx,” noted NBAA President Ed Bolen. “The discounts will directly help many of our Members save critical dollars at a time when the bottom line has never mattered more. In some cases, the savings earned will likely cover much of their Membership dues. Plus, the boost to our advocacy efforts will be substantive and much needed moving forward.”
