NBAA Announces Operations Staff Promotions

Washington, DC, December 28, 2001 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announces the promotions of several Staff Members in the NBAA Operations Department.

Joe A. “Jay” Evans has been promoted to Director, Operations. Evans represents Member needs regarding professional development, pilot certification, medical regulations and over-all operational issues. He serves as liaison to the Flight Attendants and Schedulers & Dispatchers Standing Committees and acts as the NBAA Professional Development Program (PDP) manager.

Robert G. Lamond Jr. has been promoted to Director, Air Traffic Services and Infrastructure. Lamond is responsible for issues regarding air traffic services, airspace obstructions, special use airspace, aviation weather, and air traffic safety issues. He serves as liaison to the Airspace/Air Traffic Standing Committee and the Aviation Weather and FMS/Charting Subcommittees.

Joe Hart has been promoted to Assistant Manager, Operations Service Group. The NBAA Operations Service Group (OSG) serves as an operational and technical information resource for the business aviation community. Hart also administers NBAA’s BARR Program.
