Washington, DC, March 7, 2012 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced the recipients of the 2012 Donald A. Baldwin Sr. Business Aviation Management Scholarship, which benefits individuals seeking to become NBAA Certified Aviation Managers (CAMs). The scholarship, which is given annually in coordination with the family of Donald A. Baldwin Sr., promotes professional development in business aviation by providing financial support for qualified CAM exam candidates.
This year’s recipients are William E. Hunter and Michael P. McCullough, who were recognized during the 2012 NBAA Leadership Conference held in San Diego, CA.
Hunter has a 25-year career in aviation and feels a strong passion for seeking out education and training in the business aviation industry. He is a captain with ACM Aviation Services and feels the CAM Program is a way to promote his continued learning and career development.
McCullough is the assistant director of operations for Aviation Resource Management, Inc. He is active on the NBAA Domestic Operations Committee and the King Air Technical Subcommittee. McCullough said that the CAM Program and NBAA’s Professional Development Program provide knowledge that benefits both his employer and his career.
The scholarship is named for Donald A. Baldwin Sr., an accomplished general aviation pilot who served on the NBAA Board of Directors from 1968 to 1971. In his lifetime, he was recognized for his contributions to business aviation with the NBAA John P. “Jack” Doswell Award and the Flight Safety Foundation Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award.

NBAA’s CAM Program identifies qualified professionals to lead flight departments and companies that use business aircraft. The CAM exam is provided several times per year in a computer-based testing format.
