Washington, DC, June 8, 2000 – The featured entertainer for this year’s National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Awards Banquet is the versatile Natalie Cole, interpreter of classic and contemporary pop, jazz and R&B songs. In her 25-year career she has released 21 albums and been a frequent Grammy award winner. Her Top 10 hits include “This Will Be” and “Miss You Like Crazy.

Cole began her career in 1975 with her debut title Inseparable, a gold album that won two Grammy awards including “Best New Artist.” Her most recent album is 1999’s Snowfall on the Sahara. Over the years, she has collaborated with many talented session musicians and industry legends, and several of her albums have gone gold and platinum.

Cole’s 1994 Christmas album, Holly and Ivy, has become a classic, but she is best known for her 1991 album Unforgettable, With Love, a tribute to her father Nat King Cole and the songs and singers of his era that sold 11 million copies and garnered seven Grammy awards.

The 2000 NBAA Awards Banquet will be held on October 12 at the close of the Association’s 53rd Annual Meeting & Convention in New Orleans.
