Washington, DC, May 15, 2002 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has announced plans to conduct a Chicago-Area Business Aviation Forum and Static Display at DuPage Airport on June 27.

We fully believe that this new NBAA event in Chicago will complement the Association’s efforts over the past few years to communicate with Members locally,” said NBAA President Jack Olcott. “In addition, the business aviation marketplace has clearly indicated to us that such a venue is necessary for vendors and operators to interact at the local level.

In conjunction with an outdoor static display of aircraft, the day-long Chicago-Area Business Aviation Forum will feature several workshops and briefings for NBAA Members on timely subjects such as security, insurance and communicating with senior management. It also will include a session on the benefits and advantages of a company aircraft for potential operators.

The Chicago-Area Business Aviation Forum and Static Display will commence at the DuPage Airport terminal with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The static display and vendor stations in the terminal will be open between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Forum events will be held throughout the day, concluding with an NBAA REACHBAC reception and dinner.

NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world’s largest display of civil aviation products and services.
