Washington, DC, April 2, 2002 – Today, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) formally welcomed its 7000th Member, Mark Nutritionals, Inc., a Corporate Member based in San Antonio, TX. In a special ceremony during a REACHBAC luncheon in San Antonio, NBAA President Jack Olcott presented Mark Nutritionals with a commemorative award.

We warmly welcome Mark Nutritionals as our 7000th Member,” Olcott said. “NBAA is proud to be able to serve this flight department as well as thousands of others throughout the United States and around the world in all matters related to the safety, security, efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.

Mark Nutritionals became NBAA’s 7000th Member during the Association’s 54th Annual Meeting & Convention last December in New Orleans. NBAA welcomed its 1,000th Member in 1974, its 2,000th Member in 1980, its 3,000th in 1988, its 4,000th in 1996, its 5,000th in 1997 and its 6,000th in 1999.

Membership has more than doubled since 1994, which is a reflection on the continuing growth and acceptance of business aviation as well as testament to the Members’ trust and confidence in NBAA to foster the community’s unmatched standards of safety, security and efficiency,” said Joe Ponte, NBAA vice president, membership, marketing & regional programs.
