Washington, DC, November 3, 2004 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has hired aviation lobbyist Lisa Piccione as its new senior vice president, government affairs. Piccione comes to NBAA having held senior lobby posts at Delta Air Lines and the Airports Council International-North America. She also has served as a top aide to several members of Congress, including Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR), the ranking member on the House Subcommittee on Aviation.

“Lisa is a proven, effective aviation lobbyist with a wide range of policy experience,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “She is a great addition to our new leadership team and I am looking forward to working with her. I know our Members will enjoy working with her as well.”

Piccione replaces Pete West, who recently resigned from NBAA. West had joined the Association from Delta Air Lines in 1987 and was named senior vice president, government affairs in 1998.
