Washington, DC, October 11, 2000 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Web site at www.nbaa.org features Association news articles, movie clips, “live” Web cams and panoramic photos as part of its coverage of the 53rd Annual Meeting & Convention in New Orleans. NBAA Members and other Web site visitors can view Convention scenes and read news about key events and announcements soon after they occur.

Visitors to www.nbaa.org/2000/video can now access movie clips of Opening General Session speakers such as NBAA President Jack Olcott, ICAO Council President Dr. Assad Kotaite and former NFL coach Don Shula, as well as a timelapse video of aircraft being transported from a barge on the Mississippi River to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center prior to the Show.

Web cams posted in the Convention Center display continually updated views of foot traffic on the exhibit floor, and photo galleries for each day of the Convention will display still shots. Site visitors also may watch NBAA Staff at work on the site via one of the three Web cams. Timelapse movies showing exhibit construction and tear down will be available as the Convention progresses.

NBAA represents the aviation interests of over 6,200 companies which own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world’s largest display of civil aviation products and services.
