NBAA Promotes Cotti to Director, Technical Operations

Washington, DC, February 5, 2001 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is proud to announce the promotion of Elias “Eli” Cotti to director, technical operations

In his new capacity, Cotti oversees technical assistance provided to NBAA Member Companies. He also is responsible for coordinating and developing certification policies on behalf of the NBAA Membership.

Cotti serves as Staff Liaison to the NBAA FAR Part 135, Maintenance, Operations and Safety Standing Committees as well as to the Corporate Shuttle User Group. He joined NBAA in November 1999 as the Association’s senior manager, technical operations.

Prior to joining NBAA, Cotti gained nearly 20 years of corporate aviation maintenance management experience working for Hewlett Packard Company. He holds FAA Airframe & Powerplant and Inspector Authorization licenses, and a private pilot rating.
