Washington, DC, December 19, 2000 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has promoted Linda A. Peters to director, exhibits in order to recognize her “excellent skills in providing service to our valuable NBAA Exhibitors,” said Vice President, Conventions & Seminars Kathleen Blouin.

Peters oversees and administers all Exhibitor-related activities for the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, the largest strictly civil aviation exhibition in the world. Her duties include sale of space, floorplan design, development and enforcement of rules and regulations, coordination with service contractors, and oversight of exhibits at the Convention. She also manages exhibits for the NBAA Seminar Program and provides support in the area of exhibit management to EBACE, to be held April 18 to 20, 2001, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Peters holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. She joined the Association in March of 1994 as manager, exhibits, and in early 1998 was promoted to senior manager. Before joining NBAA, she worked as exhibit manager for the Helicopter Association International for more than three years.

NBAA represents the aviation interests of over 6,300 companies which own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world’s largest display of civil aviation products and services.
