Washington, DC, April 22, 2002 – This month, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) welcomes its new Senior Manager, Housing & Special Events, Deb Hanson, whose responsibilities include all aspects of NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention housing, travel and special events as well as providing customer service to exhibitors, delegates and special guests. She also will handle Convention and Seminar Program sponsorship opportunities.

Hanson comes to NBAA from Implant Innovations, Inc., where she was manager, exhibits & tradeshows since 2000. Before that, she worked for 20 years in the Marketing and Communications Departments at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in Florida. During her tenure at Sikorsky, Deb served for four years on the NBAA Exhibitor Advisory Subcommittee, an informal group of exhibit managers who provide information and advice to ensure that the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the foremost showcase in the world for business aviation products and services.

Deb was a very active participant in the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention and a wonderful spokesperson representing Sikorsky on the Exhibitor Advisory Subcommittee. Her expertise as a rank and file Exhibitor will assist NBAA in better understanding the needs of that important segment of our Membership,” said Vice President, Conventions & Seminars Kathleen Blouin. “It’s our mission to provide the best customer service possible to Attendees at the NBAA Convention, and we believe Deb possesses outstanding skills in that area.
