Sylvia Jennings of Wotan America, Inc. returns to the Board for a three-year term after a three-year absence; she was last a Board Member from 1994 to 1997. Three current Members of the Board of Directors also were reelected for three-year terms: Donald Baldwin of Texaco, Inc., Kenneth E. Emerick of GM Worldwide Travel Services, and Kenneth Peartree of Hewlett Packard.

The NBAA Board of Directors welcomes John D. “Jack” Kuss as its newest Member. Kuss has been with Rochester, NY-based Eastman Kodak for 22 years, and he currently is the company’s chief pilot. He was chairman of the NBAA Operations Committee from 1997 to 1999.

In 1994, Sylvia Jennings became the first woman to be elected to NBAA Board of Directors, and NBAA asked her to return in 2000. A graduate of the University of Florida, Jennings is president of Wotan America, Inc. During her earlier term on the Board, she also served as the Chairman of the NBAA Membership Committee from 1996 to 1997.

Donald Baldwin first joined the Board in 1996 and has been its Treasurer since 1999. He joined Texaco, Inc. in 1974 as a copilot, and today is the company’s manager of aviation transport services. He served NBAA as the Chairman of the Industry Affairs Committee from 1997 to 1999.

Kenneth Emerick was first appointed to the NBAA Board earlier this year to fill a vacancy. He is director of aviation for GM Worldwide Travel Services, a company he joined early in his career after graduating from Wayne State University. He served as Chairman of the NBAA Corporate Aviation Management Committee for three years.

Kenneth Peartree, a Director since 1994, is aviation department manager of Hewlett Packard. He also served NBAA as the Chairman of the Membership Committee from 1997 to 1999.

These Members’ terms in their respective offices will conclude at the NBAA 56th Annual Meeting & Convention to be held in Orlando, FL from October 7 to 9, 2003.
