Nick Verdea – CAM Fellow

Nick Verdea, CAM, GLP, has spent more than two decades as an aviation manager/director of aviation and holds an airline transport rating with 13 type ratings in different jets and 13,000 accident-free flight hours.

Verdea received his Certified Aviation Manager designation in 2007, and Global Leadership Professional designation in 2015, as his passion for the aviation industry grew. He has won two industry awards: the Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation from NBAA and the Bombardier’s Safety Standdown award.

A champion of aviation safety, Verdea holds an NBAA Safety Manager certificate and has been a past IS-BAO auditor. Over the years he has served on NBAA committees, and as a member of the CAM Governing Board.
Verdea has a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
