It also will feature many of the traditional elements of NBAA’s annual in-person Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference and International Operators Conference, including 3D booths, education sessions and networking opportunities for attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.
DeLaurentis flew his nine-month pole-to-pole mission in 2019 and 2020. He also flew an epic around-the-world flight that started in San Diego, CA, in 2015, which featured 27 stops and totaled 27,000 miles. As a businessman, he operates a successful residential rental property and property management company called Innorev Enterprises, Inc. He also has founded Flying Thru Life and published a book by the same name in 2014. He also has published Zen Pilot, Flight of Passion, The Journey Within and The Little Plane That Could. With more than 2,100 flight hours as a general aviation pilot, DeLaurentis holds visual, instrument and multi-engine ratings, as well as a commercial pilot certificate. He also has an advanced graduate degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Southern California.
During the Feb. 24 keynote, which takes place from 2-3 p.m., DeLaurentis will discuss the motivations and challenges he faced planning for his nine-month pole-to-pole mission.
“My two journeys have made it clear to me that the people of this world share more similarities than differences,” DeLaurentis said. “Through them I discovered the uniting spiritual element that is at our core and connects us all; things like the desire for health, happiness, the safety of ourselves and our families, and our desire to dream and explore this beautiful planet we share.”
