Josh Rawlins

Connect on LinkedInJosh Rawlins never considered aviation as a career growing up, but at just 19 he took a job with Epic Flight Academy sweeping floors in their maintenance hangar. Soon after they offered him an apprenticeship through which Rawlins received his A&P certificate, subsequently becoming lead mechanic and then director of maintenance. Later, he became the vice president of operations for the flight school. A few years later he became COO and helped the company evolve its long-running apprenticeship program into a full FAA-approved Part 147 A&P school.
“I love to see a student’s face at the moment it all ‘clicks,’” said Rawlins. “That’s what keeps me going.”
