Robert “Bobby” Cavetti began his aviation career as a fueler at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 17 years ago. What started as a part-time job grew to be his passion and life mission. During his climb from line service technician to manager and now director of safety & training, he developed and implemented new safety practices, further enhancing Sheltair’s dominant safety culture.
“I strive to ensure employees go home safe, to keep aircraft undamaged and provide our guests with the safest ramp circumstances,” said Cavetti. “I believe a strong safety culture is a synonym to health, life and exceptional service.”
Cavetti encourages others to consider careers in aviation, adding that seemingly entry-level line service positions can grow to other roles in the industry and pioneer positive change.
