Dr. Brian Irizarry, Ed.D., grew up going to airports to watch airplanes and always wanted to be a pilot. In 2013, an opportunity to work in human resources with a Signature Aviation subsidiary opened the door to business aviation. From there, Irizarry’s passion for educating and impacting others led him to his current role. As manager of learning operations, he led the design and implementation of the company’s corporate university model and conducted an onboarding research project to help improve the organization’s new hire onboarding program. Irizarry is passionate about community involvement and has built partnerships between Signature Aviation and Special Olympics USA, the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Come Out with Pride Organization.
“It’s exciting to see the changes in technology and advances in aviation right now,” Irizarry says. “Knowing that I contribute to improving the experience makes me happy.”
