Danny Santiago
Director of Avionics, Banyan Air Service
Danny Santiago was destined to be in aviation. Born into an aviation family, he graduated from high school early and began a collegiate pilot and AMT program at 16 years old. An A&P technician position with a regional airline led to a Part 145 repair station role. There, he was offered an opportunity with Banyan Air Service, working his way from technician to crew leader and beyond, eventually landing at his current avionics director position.
“New, innovative and emerging technology excites me, as well as the people I meet along the way,” says Santiago. “The most rewarding part of my career has been to now sit on various boards, committees and councils, shaping the future of business aviation, as well as assisting with the workforce development crisis we are all experiencing.”
