Eliane “Elly” Cotran has been fascinated by aviation since childhood. Her interest led her to pursue a degree in industrial engineering, where she was part of a university aerospace design and innovation program. An entrepreneurial spirit and advice from mentors led her to explore aircraft leasing. At Azorra, Cotran blends her entrepreneurial side with the chance to learn new aspects of business aviation. Now she shares her experience by mentoring the next generation of business aviation professionals.

“One of the most rewarding parts is the business aviation community. Despite being a large industry, it feels like a small family where everyone works together to support each other, regardless of being competitors,” Cotran says. “Helping younger women grow in this field, which can sometimes seem intimidating, has been incredibly fulfilling.”
